Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
Wine Making: Made from grapes bought from local wine growers, the clusters are pneumatically pressed and the juice statically settled over a 12 hours period. The clear juices are then transferred to stainless steel containers for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation under temperature control. After the fermentations, the wine is aged in stainless steel on lees until bottling. Soil- Sedimentary rocks from the Cretaceous period, clayey limestone zones of high clay concentration
Tasting Notes: This Mâcon-Solutré is a perfect illustration of a typical Chardonnay from this terroir: citrus notes join minerality and hints of mint for a fresh, generous wine that is a pleasure to drink.
