Château Hermitage Mazeyres
Varietal: 80%Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc
Wine Making: Green harvesting in the summer. The harvest is done exclusively by hand with a selection in the vineyards. The malolactic fermentations are carried out in cement (epoxy-lined) vats with constant temperature controls. After draining, part of the wine is aged in Allier oak barrels between 18 and 24 months.
Nose – blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries, elderberry, licorice and spices.
Mouth- fruity and round, spicy, with silky tannins and a long and elegant finish
